We’ll go the distance for you

The A4R team is made up of highly experienced professionals who share a common purpose: to empower people to improve their lives and provide access to legal solutions for their basic housing needs. Whether they are lawyers, project staff or part of the management or admin, each member is passionate about being champions of justice for those being unfairly treated by landlords.

Advice4Renters Team and Office

Ronald Daley

Senior Solicitor, Head of Legal Team Ronald has many years of experience in housing law.  For the past 18 years, he has specialised in representing/advising tenants and the homeless in a range of cases.

Denise Dodd

A veteran of 5 years as the Front of House at Advice4Renters. Interests include Animal Welfare, Foreign Culture and Cooking.

Diana Young

Diana has managed volunteers whilst working on community health and other projects in the voluntary sector for the last 9 years. She also volunteers herself at a community centre in Kilburn.

Elizabeth Salmon

Elizabeth is a solicitor, she works on the Under One Roof programme and on general legal cases. She has worked in the charitable sector for over 7 years.

Jacky Peacock

Jacky has been at the forefront of Advice4Renters when it began 30 years’ ago and has built the organisation from ground up, supported by a cohesive and passionate team

Karen O’Sullivan

Karen joined A4R in October 2019. As a housing caseworker in a local law centre, she gained experience in housing law, including weekly sessions at a local drug and alcohol project.

Mark Lahaise

An experienced housing law solicitor, Mark leads our Green Light Laws project advising tenants on housing matters, including applications for Rent Repayment Orders and claims regarding tenancy deposits.

Mark Keepin

Mark is our most experienced adviser on welfare benefits and other social welfare law and has been playing a leading role in the services delivered from Brent Community Hubs.

Gusta Glover

Gusta is an experienced housing law solicitor having worked in private practice and the not for profit sector. Her workload includes defending possession claims, disrepair cases and homelessness reviews and appeals.

Pat Fernandes

Pat manages our financial capability projects, having worked as a volunteer in Camden for 6 years, she is now replicating satellite services all over NW London.

Jacqueline Ferguson

Jacqueline’s work around Social Prescribing involves helping clients to improve their overall health and well-being. She is passionate about fighting injustices and inequalities in the welfare system.

Tiziana Falco

Tiziana joined A4R in 2015 as a receptionist volunteer. She is now supports our legal team so that they can help more people whose housing rights are at risk or denied.

Our Trustees

Our Board of Trustees comprises professionals from diverse backgrounds and experiences. They are experts in their fields with a common belief in the importance of upholding the basic value that housing is a fundamental right. They are passionate advocates of justice when it comes to housing and we are grateful to have them on our Board of Trustees.

George Bangham

an economist at the Resolution Foundation, an independent think-tank that works to improve the living standards of families on low and middle incomes. His research looks at labour markets, wellbeing and wealth inequality.

Robert Johnson

is a Councillor for Northwick Park ward of Brent Council. He has worked in Trade and Industry Department for nearly ten years. He has taken on various Community roles and is well known within the Community of Brent.

John Kwan

a non-practising solicitor advocate and co-founder of a Legal Tech start-up. He practised antitrust law and litigation at global law firm Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP at their London and Brussels offices.

Craig Parker

Craig is responsible for the Integrated Systems business in EMEIA at Fujitsu. Previously, Craig was on the Board of Energy Solutions, NW London.

Jermaine Ranger

Jermaine is an experienced marketing professional, who has worked for one of Birmingham’s most highly respected law firms. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and has Chartered Marketer status. His marketing background spans both strategic and tactical marketing roles in leisure, sports and education.

Sue Waller 

an experienced strategic housing manager who has worked for housing departments both in London and Stevenage.
